So... I recently posted my first Pokefusion; a lovely creature called Vaporchoke. I've wanted to make them for a little while now and I've just recently found the motivation to do it. I like drawing creatures. That's why I like Pokefusions, not just because you can see what "this plus this" makes, but because my inner scientist loves to see what kinds of absurd, confounding, amazing creatures will be produced-- and my inner artist likes them because they make me get something done. Ah, the 800th pageview. For many, it's a minuscule number that's achieved weekly. But for someone as small as me, that means a lot. It stands as a small monument of progress for me, and it makes me a bit proud to think that 800 people have at least taken a few seconds to glance at my little corner of this massive site. This will serve as an inspiration for me, and I hope to at least double those 800 views by year's end-- at least. I've only gotten those first 600 views from comments alone (I would think) and the latest 200 or so from actual works I've shown in the past few months, which is promising. With the posting of my first comic, "Lil' Phil," I switch on the conveyor belt of what I intend to be a long line of comics (obviously much-better illustrated). I didn't expect to release a comic that I'd only created a month ago as the first gear. But it's more of a warm-up comic, just to get me in the groove again; knowing me, though, even a warm-up has to have decent material imagined by me alone instead of cliche stories that I stole from a children's book (How could I complain?). The rest of my works will be even more fleshed-out and I hope that you all will enjoy them. So hang around for a while: there's more to come. Peace
